2012 movie is an end of the world film directed by Roland Emmerich starring hollywood's best stars namely John Cusack, Amanda Peet, Danny Glover, Thandie Newton, Oliver Platt, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Woody Harrelson.This was released on November 13, 2009 in theaters world wide. 2012 did a great impact in the movie industry and even to the lives of the movie goers that's why it was a blockbuster hit in todays arena.This story is actually based on the said prediction the ancient Mayans on the “December 21, 2012 Dooms day” event. This hypothesis is currently roaming around the web and it really catches the opinions of the people specially the Christian Believers.
In my part, I don't really believe in the said prediction. Why? It is because NO one ever knows the day when the world will end. It is said in God's word 2 Peter 3:10-11 that " But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare." It so clear that the end of the world relies only in God's decision..only His will. He will come like a "thief in the night" where no one ever noticed. No exact time, No exact date. Yes, destruction is real yet Revival is evident. So come to think of it. Live life to the fullest, find and fulfill your purpose and Love GOD as you love others cause chances come only once and tomorrow might be too late.Hopefully , this movie opens the mind of the people that the end of the world is real. Not just a story in a big screen but a true to Life story that will come to an end.
I encourage everyone to watch this but don't just watch it with your eyes... DIG DEEPER to the real meaning of the story...and prepare your HEARTS, prepare your LIVES...
